After a very huge localization work (thanks to Philip Bleicker), we begin the beta test of Contactizer Pro 3.6.3 German version.

Australia, Czech Yellow/White Pages in Contactizer 3.6.1

Contactizer Pro and Express 3.6.1 have been released. This minor version fixes number of bugs and crashs.

This new version also includes two more new Yellow/White Pages engines, now you can search contacts in Australia and Czech Republic. More countries are expected in the future like Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland etc...

Contactizer Pro and Express 3.6 released

We are pleased to announce the official release of Contactizer Pro and Express 3.6. This new version includes number of improvements and bug fixes. The new major features are:

- iCal Multiple Calendars syncing with Contactizer Categories.
- Cover Flow mode (Leopard Only feature) that shows your contacts in a business card like view.
- New Task Quick Entry without running Contactizer itself. Define and use your own key shortcut for displaying a panel to quickly add a new simple Task.
- Completely rewritten Yellow/White Pages module with Germany and France as new countries.
- Added new Toolbar to allow customization of toolbar icons.

Contactizer Pro and Express 3.5.3 released

We have just released a new minor version of Contactizer Pro and Express.

This new version fixes various crash and bugs.

- Multiple contact edition is now much more useful. You can select the address fields you want to edit and apply to edited contacts.
- Task sorting by due date, keeps sub criteria sorting such as priority.
- Enterprise Groups URLs were not saved correctly.
- Some contact smartgroups could not be saved.
- No tasks were displayed when filtering by projects in a mode other than "All" dates.
- In rare cases, Contactizer could freeze in the Event Module.

What's new in Contactizer Pro 3.5

We are currently working hard to finish the next major release of Contactizer Pro. So we will reveal the new key features soon...

So, today this is not really a new feature but eye-candy enhancement of the contact photo in the detail view.

    A few days ago I have downloaded the trial version of Contactizer Pro. I'm very enthousiastic about the package and I'm considering buying two licences (for now), as it is the only package so far that comes close enough to my requirements. But there are some features I miss and would like suggest:

    - Mailing module: a module which makes it easy to send e-mailings like newsletters to contacts like customers & prospects. It would have to include:

    * the possibility merge names and other data (like adresses, openings, etc.) into the mailings in order the personalize them. For example see Filemaker Pro Business Productivity Solution;
    * the possibility to catogarize mailings / newsletters (not all contacts receive the same e-mailings)
    * the possibility to attach / import PDF files to those mailings.
    * the possibilty to have an option in your contact dialog screen "E-mailings / Newsletters: Yes / No").
    * the possibility to easily import contact details from applications like Mail and Excel(!).
    * possibility to send e-mails from Contacter Pro and sync it with standard mail application like Apple Mail.


    - Billing module: a module which makes it easy to create invoices. For an example see Billings2. It should have the possiblity to:

    - merge contact information into invoices;
    - besides tax percentages have the possibiltis, to add more percentage fields like "Discount" and "Mark up";
    - show alarm when invoice is overdue and automatically make "reminder" letter with merged date (name + address company, dept., invoice nr., amount, term of payment -to be set by user-);
    - option button "Paid" when invoice is paid.



    Problem:
    At this moment I have a problem with the sharing part: I would like to share parts of my contacts with someone else, but I can not choose the categories (see attachment). How can this be solved?

• Sync implementation with your devices (via iSync) and other 3rd party app.
• Backup feature has returned.
• Company Id field is now available in the contact details view.
• Quick Day View: it is a very quick access to the day view when you are in Month view. It allows rapid overview of events in one day.
• Skype integration. You can now see the Skype availability status, as for iChat, from Contactizer. Added direct Skype dialing too.
